INTRODUCTION

Welcome to my Magicka Nightblade build for Dragon Bones patch. This build is made for end-game trial and dungeon environment.

Here you can find info on how to setup your attributes, what gear you should use, how to set your skill bars and champion points.

What weapon trait should I choose?

Infused is the go to choice if you only wanna push higher damage on single target.

Nirnhoned for the back bar is the best choice overall and provides best balance between both AOE and single target damage.

Recommended choice is to go Infused on both Main and Backup Hand Weapon for this setup.

Don’t have access to some of the recommended gear or want to use something else? 

Gear for both setups are fairly easy to get, especially our main Damage setup. Mechanical Acuity being a crafted set and Burning Spellweave obtainable from one of the easiest dungeon there is, therefore I don’t recommend any other gear setups for this build.

If you feel like your health is too low, you can use one Max Health enchant instead of Max Magicka on one piece of your gear, however in group environment your health should be more than enough with the basic buffs your group provides.

When to use Damage or Support setup?

Use Damage setup when your group has more than 3 sources of Major Slayer in the group already, otherwise keep using the Support setup.

You can switch around the places of abilities as long as you keep the same abilities on same bars. However you can switch places with Twisting Path and Siphoning Attacks if you want to have your Twisting Path on back bar and Siphoning Attacks on front bar. You can also move Harness Magicka to front bar and Impale to back bar.

If you’re new to the game or Nightblade class in general, I suggest you to read carefully what the different abilities do, how much they cost, whats their duration, cast time etc. so you understand how you should rotate your abilities and how they work.

SKILL ROTATION

Before you enter combat, apply Merciless Resolve and Siphoning Attacks, both last 20 seconds which we make our rotation around. Always start the fight with Elemental Rage Ultimate and after that keep using Soul Harvest. Replace Funnel Health with your Merciless Resolve bow ability (Assassin’s Will) when it procs.

Our rotation is dynamic with this setup, which makes it very hard to write it down but here’s a simplified version of it.
